Representative cases:

Represent a Fortune 500 Company in defense of a private multi-party Superfund litigation seeking costs of cleaning up drycleaner contamination and in contribution claims against responsible third parties, including argument in a related case in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals on the meaning of “necessary” response costs under CERCLA.

Obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of an individual plaintiff in a prolonged copyright infringement litigation against a media giant.

General outside counsel to a corporation that provides parking, energy and other vital services  to a major medical institution.

Provided a case evaluation of a major Superfund action for recovery of investigation and cleanup costs brought by the corporate bonafide purchaser.

Obtained a favorable jury verdict on behalf of an industrial owner against the prior owner of contaminated property for the costs of investigation and cleanup of a leaking underground storage tank pursuant to MA c. 21E.
